Building and strengthening marriages begins with husbands and wives making time to be with each other and having fun together.
Our final date, "Where Do I Find the Courage?", Reminds us that learning to love like Christ loves is difficult. Prayer and God's grace can help us endure the challenges we encounter in our married life.
About Date Night
In a world full of competing demands for our attention: children, work, friends, etc., time for each other is a rare commodity for most married couples. Yet, without this opportunity for staying connected spouses drift apart and marriages suffer. The strength of marriages is a priority for the Catholic Church because marriage is the heart of the family, and families are schools of love. Understanding this, St Francis Marriage Ministry is offering this new Date Night Program, SIX DATES for Catholic Couples, encouraging couples to make quality time for each other.
Date night begins after the 5 PM Mass and includes dinner, a video presentation, time to talk together and other couples, and fun games.
All married couples with and without children are encouraged to attend. Engaged couples are also encouraged to participate. Dinner and childcare are provided. There is a suggested donation of $15 per couple to help cover the cost of each date.
This is our final date night of the series - thanks for joining us!
